IAR is delighted to announce the opening of its fourth school, Creative Scholars Academy (CSA), in response to the growing demand for islamic education for school-age children in the Triangle area.
The administration at CSA is committed to collaborating with other IAR schools to support children in developing strong Muslim identities.
The school is located in a new building located at the IAR’s second campus at 3104 Page Rd, Morrisville, NC 27560
Our school will offer Pre-Kindergraten-2nd grade. There will be one classroom per grade level.
CSA will follow the NC Standard Course of Study for all K-2nd core subjects. For details, please see: Standard Course of Study | NC DPI
Additionally, Arabic, Quran & Islamic Studies will be offered.
The Pre-Kindergraten curriculum will be based on the NC Pre-K Program, which focuses on the whole-child teaching approach. It is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-old children. For details, please refer to: NC Pre-K Curriculum. In addition, Arabic, Quran, & Islamic Studies will be offered.
Tuition will be based on the grade level and the number of children from the same family applying to CSA. For more information, please visit our website.
CSA is currently applying to participate in the NC Opportunity Scholarship so that our families can take advantage of funding provided by the State of North Carolina. We urge parents to take advantage of this program. For more information on how to apply, please visit our website to read step-by-step instructions on how to fill out the application for the NC Opportunity Scholarship. For details, please see: Opportunity Scholarship – NCSEAA
There is a $300 non-refundable application fee per student to apply to CSA if parents decide to withdraw. However, if your application is contingent on your acceptance to the NC Opportunity Scholarship Program CSA will refund the application fee, given that the applicant was not accepted into the NC Opportunity Scholarship Program.
The teacher- student ratio will be 1:10
Inshaa Allah, our plan is to offer 3rd grade next year at CSA or make arrangements with Al-Iman School and An-Noor School to facilitate admission to 3rd grade based space availability. This is work in progress and not guaranteed at this time.
CSA will provide a variety of interest clubs to Kindergraten -2nd Grade students. Our students will have the oppprtunity to participate in Science/Mathematics Fair and other competitions, robotics, creative arts, sports and more!
We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive educational environment rooted in Islamic values, while welcoming children of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Our mission is to foster a holistic education experience to drive a passion and desire for learning, strong moral foundations, and promote inclusivity among our young learners. We envision an environment that encourages students to thrive through a diverse range of learning experiences. Our goal is to equip students not only for academic excellence, but also to lead gratifying and purposeful lives in their future academic and personal endeavors.
We are encouraging parents to register their children as soon as possible; however, at the present time there is no deadline to register. Once all the spaces are full then CSA will start a waitlist for the students.
Once the application is recieved, parents will be notfied to choose a date and time for their child’s screening assessment. Based on the results, the school will inform parents about the admission decision.
CSA firmly believes in the whole child teaching approach and the social-emotional well being of all students and adults. Instructional focus will be on building students’ strengths and their character, so that they can grow at their own pace. CSA will identify and promote the unique qualities in each child, and provide a nurturing learning environment that will instill the joy of learning in our children.
We rely on our generous community to create a lasting impact and ensure the continuous operations of your Masjid as the gathering place, school, and house of worship for Muslims across the Triangle.
Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openlyātheir reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.”
